Hello,
I’m Dr. Linda Beed, the creative designer and stylist of Dolls for Our Daughters. Among the multiple hats I wear are those of wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. I am also an author, speaker and veteran children’s minister.
Several years ago I designed clothing for several dolls to cross promote with a project I was launching. Interest in the dolls were on par with the primary product. Conversations with several interested in the dolls included one consistent question—Could I design doll clothing that looked like how their daughters liked to dress?
That question weighed heavily on my mind as I pondered whether I would answer the call. Once the decision was made, it became very important to me to incorporate fabrics that reflect our rich African heritage into my designs.
As we all know, accessories complete the outfit. In order for your loved one to have that experience, we have chosen original and other items to enhance our dolls look.
The Beed Group, LLC future plans are to expand our inventory to include soft-body dolls, accessories and books that will encourage positive growth, pride in self and an appreciation for the differences of others.
