This Is Me

Dolls for Our Daughters seeks to provide dolls that all of Our Daughters can identify with. This year we have added the 'This Is Me' category to acknowledge our 'Other-Abled' young ladies. 

Our Mobile Girl  may not have the mobility of her legs, but that does not negate the fact that her intellect is intact and her fashion sense is on point. 

You will find her out and about with her BFFs or immersed in her studies. Wherever she finds herself, she is self-confident and admired by many,

Several years ago I  had opportunity to visit Gallaudet University on the day of their first Black Deaf Expo. I knew very little ASL (American Sign Language), but was determined to learn all that I could. To this day I am grateful for the opportunity to learn from my 'other-abled' hosts.
